Albert Boateng is a seasoned finance professional with over 19 years of experience in banking, investment, and finance. He currently serves as an Advisor for the GET.Invest Finance Catalyst program in Sub-Saharan Africa and as the Team Leader for Green Finance Facilitator, a project preparation and investment facilitation initiative in Ghana. Throughout his career, Albert has been instrumental in supporting investments, fundraising, and strategic project development for a wide range of projects and businesses across West Africa, with a strong focus on clean energy initiatives.
Albert previously held the role of Regional Director at Persistent Energy Partners, a clean energy investment company, where he managed the investment and portfolio development of the firm’s West Africa operations. His responsibilities included pipeline development, investment appraisal, transaction structuring, asset management, and overseeing exit and liquidation strategies. Prior to this, he served as the Regional Asset Manager for E+Co, a clean energy fund management company that provided enterprise development services and investment capital to SMEs.
With extensive fund management experience, Albert was the Head of Asset Management at SIC-Financial Services Ltd, where he managed one of Ghana’s largest pension funds and other significant assets. He also played a key role as part of the pioneer team managing a $10 million Venture Capital Fund, which supported businesses across multiple sectors. Albert has a proven track record in advising and fundraising for small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs). As the Regional Co-ordinator for the Private Financing Advisory Network, he organized and participated in numerous Project Development and Financing Workshops, building capacity for clean energy entrepreneurs and project developers.
Earlier in his career, Albert worked as a credit analyst with Citizens Financial Group and Belmont Savings Bank in the United States. Stephanie Eyram Akrumah is a Ghanaian- qualified lawyer with consulting experience in carbon markets, ESG regulation, climate risk, critical minerals and renewable energy policy.
Her legal practice spans mergers and acquisitions, corporate advisory, regulatory compliance, dispute resolution and cross border transactions, particularly in sectors undergoing green transition. She advises a wide range of public and private sector clients including development partners and investors.
Stephanie’s transactional and regulatory work combines legal and sustainability expertise, including the structuring of climate conscious deals, negotiating sustainability linked investments and integrating ESG due diligence and climate risk into governance frameworks.
