Albert Boateng is a seasoned finance professional with over 19 years of experience in banking, investment, and finance. He currently serves as an Advisor for the GET.Invest Finance Catalyst program in Sub-Saharan Africa and as the Team Leader for Green Finance Facilitator, a project preparation and investment facilitation initiative in Ghana. Throughout his career, Albert has been instrumental in supporting investments, fundraising, and strategic project development for a wide range of projects and businesses across West Africa, with a strong focus on clean energy initiatives.

Albert previously held the role of Regional Director at Persistent Energy Partners, a clean energy investment company, where he managed the investment and portfolio development of the firm’s West Africa operations. His responsibilities included pipeline development, investment appraisal, transaction structuring, asset management, and overseeing exit and liquidation strategies. Prior to this, he served as the Regional Asset Manager for E+Co, a clean energy fund management company that provided enterprise development services and investment capital to SMEs.

With extensive fund management experience, Albert was the Head of Asset Management at SIC-Financial Services Ltd, where he managed one of Ghana’s largest pension funds and other significant assets. He also played a key role as part of the pioneer team managing a $10 million Venture Capital Fund, which supported businesses across multiple sectors. Albert has a proven track record in advising and fundraising for small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs). As the Regional Co-ordinator for the Private Financing Advisory Network, he organized and participated in numerous Project Development and Financing Workshops, building capacity for clean energy entrepreneurs and project developers.

Earlier in his career, Albert worked as a credit analyst with Citizens Financial Group and Belmont Savings Bank in the United States. He holds the Financial Modelling and Valuation Analyst (FMVA) certification from the Corporate Finance Institute, equipping him with the skills to help businesses develop robust financial models, demonstrate viability, and identify investor exit opportunities. He has also supported investors in conducting due diligence on potential investee companies.

Albert currently serves on the Investment Committee for Wangara Capital, a climate-smart impact investment fund, and previously served on the Investment Committee of the Commodity Aggregation Development Fund (CADeF). He has also held board positions with PEG Ghana Ltd, Persistent Energy Capital Partners, and Connect Capital.

Albert holds an MBA in Finance from Boston College, USA, and a BA in Social Science (Economics and French) from Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology (KNUST), Ghana. His extensive expertise and leadership in finance and clean energy continue to drive impactful initiatives across the region.

Maame Ama Aniiwaa Owusu Ansah is a dynamic legal practitioner called to the Ghana Bar in the year 2023. Rapidly establishing herself as a strategic and solution-oriented legal counsel across civil and criminal matters, Maame brings innovative and solution-driven approaches to litigation, family law, land transactions, corporate advisory, and regulatory compliance.

She holds a Bachelor or Laws (LL.B) from the Ghana Institute of Management and Public Administration (GIMPA) with a Qualifying Certificate in Law from the Ghana School of Law. Maame is also currently pursuing further professional training at the Chartered Institute of Bankers (Ghana) to deepen her understanding of financial regulation and institutional compliance.

As a litigation lawyer in private practice, Maame has honed her advocacy skills representing clients across a wide spectrum of matters including, divorce and matrimonial proceedings, property disputes, contract enforcement, and civil suits refining her strategic litigation approach and client management abilities. She also served at the Office of the Attorney General and Ministry of Justice, where she was actively involved in legal reform, policy development, and human rights initiatives, broadening her exposure to governance, justice sector operations, and cross-border legal frameworks.

Additionally, Maame offers tailored advisory on land and property law, with proven experience in due diligence, transactional support, and dispute avoidance. She has also advised clients on corporate structuring, company registration, and statutory compliance, with an in-depth knowledge of the procedures of the Office of the Registrar of Companies. Her multidisciplinary approach, combining legal knowledge with operational insight, allows her to support both individuals and institutions in managing risk, achieving compliance, and resolving legal challenges effectively.

Maame brings an international outlook to her legal practice, supported by working knowledge of select widely spoken global languages. This linguistic versatility enables her to engage meaningfully with a wide range of clients and stakeholders, making her particularly effective in matters that require both legal precision and a nuanced understanding of people and systems. She is respected for her integrity, diligence, and client-centered approach, consistently using the law not only as a mechanism for resolution but as a meaningful tool for transformation and justice.
